AFC North Players In the Crosshairs

Pro Football Weekly came out with their list of AFC players who are expected to be closely watched and scrutinized this season. The list for the Browns, Bengals and Ravens are their respective quaterbacks, but for the Steelers, they name WR Mike Wallace as the player in the “crosshairs.” According to PFW,

“Wallace will be gunning for big dollars this season, money the Steelers might not pay, although he will have to reverse a second-half trend from last season that saw more production go in the direction of Antonio Brown.”

While Wallace is an obvious choice because of his contract situation, I would also say that Ben Roethlisberger is very close on that list. With a better and younger o line and new offensive coordinator, I think there is a lot more pressure on Ben from the fans to improve his game.

What do you think? Are there any other players on the Steelers that should be closely observed and scrutinized? Let us know in our comments/forums.
